a quote…

Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability.

– Sam Keen

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.

– John Lubbock

Laziness works. And the simple way to incorporate its health benefits into your life is simply to take a nap.

– Tom Hodgkinson

I’m finding it hard to concentrate. It feels almost impossible to get myself inspired. I’m lacking that drive that generally lays waiting in the pit of my stomach, ready to be ignited by the latest idea or a moment of creativity. It’s the call of the sunshine and a warm breeze. A case of summertime laziness! And if you don’t have the benefit of having the summer off, working away during the summer months is a sad reality. Most work days likely do not include lounging in the shade sipping iced tea, watching the trees move gently in the breeze.

Feeling the same way? Here are some articles to help you be productive this summer.

Or, just go have a nap instead…
