…stay cool

Happy Canada Day! What a glorious start to summer here in the lower mainland of BC. Hope everyone had a long weekend to remember.

We certainly enjoyed the sunshine, but it always takes some time to adapt your routines to the heat. The fans came out of storage, windows and doors were open all day, and our portable air conditioner is making it’s first appearance for a more comfortable sleep tonight. We end up eating dinner later, taking our time, moving a bit more slowly in the hot weather.

I don’t know about you, but my beauty routines need adapting too! No one feels their best when hot, sweaty and sticky. There are little things you can do such as dressing comfortably, or switching to a lighter weight moisturizer, ditching the heavy foundation.

A floppy straw hat and flowy summer dress are a must.

Try switching your scent for the summer. JOIE FOLLE DE JOIE is a light mix of rose and jasmine.
