a quote… letting go

I’m not as good as I’d like to be at letting things go. Holding on to anxiety, getting yourself worked up and stressed out is not healthy. I know it’s not healthy. When something is bugging me I tell myself “Whatever. In the large scheme of things it’s not a big deal.” But a few hours later, the issue somehow bubbles itself back up to the surface, with scenarios running through my mind and the issue weighing down on my shoulders. Knowing you want to let go and not being able to is extremely frustrating!!! Ahhhh!

So, today,  a few quotes about letting go. More for myself than for anyone else… but maybe there’s something you’re hanging on to and are having difficulty shaking as well.

  1. In a course I took eons ago, we had to have our ‘issue’ mimic a well known song… mine was “Let it go, let it go, let it go” Funny thing, honestly, I was singing that today!
