It’s been a long time since I have posted here on “things i’m loving…” but I won’t be apologizing for it. One thing I’ve come to understand about blogging is that it needs to be authentic, and come from the heart, for there to be any worth in publishing your thoughts online. Otherwise, you’re just putting more garbage content out into the internets. We have enough of that available online as it is and, politely, I refuse to participate.
So I go through these periods of digital silence, experiencing life and finding my inspiration. I sit in front of a computer all day long at work, and more inspiration is found out there – yes, in the “real world”- than by the glow of a computer screen. No point forcing myself to write when I’m just not feeling it.
But then come these moments of deep craving. When the ideas rush in and suddenly there aren’t enough free hours in my day to get it all “on paper”.
Right now, I really want to
share highlights and photos of my trip to Europe by giving you a list of must-sees and must-dos. My husband and I will shortly be going through the process of renovating our first house (yes, after 3 long years of searching, we’ve found THE place!!) so I’d love to share photos of our inspiration, details of our plan and updates along the way. I’d post photos of the interior in it’s current condition, but this blog is about the beautiful things in life -not ugly, tacky things from the 70’s!!! The house has so much potential, great layout, good bones. It just needs someone to make it shine.
So with that, I will be bringing you more posts, more frequently over the next little while. Here’s hoping you enjoy them, and share
your thoughts and stories with me along the way.
